Kestrel Standing on a Post and Waiting

A kestrel stands patiently on a post, watching its surroundings as it waits for the right moment to act. With its sharp eyesight and alert posture, this beautiful bird of prey demonstrates the patience and attentiveness that make kestrels such skilled hunters. A lovely wildlife photograph capturing a quiet moment of natural behaviour, taken by J P Watson Photography.
